First Floor - main living area

We use this floor as the main living area. The living room has a fantastic view from its wide bay windows over Cardigan Bay. You can watch the sun setting over the sea every day due to the panoramic westerly aspect.

This is one of several painted signs that we discovered when we stripped back the old wallpaper during renovation work. It harks back to when the terrace was taken over during WW2 so the army could practice D Day landings on the beach here at Tywyn. We have preserved as much as possible of the original and retouched (in a different shade) where necessary to make it legible.

Britannia Range cooker, electric with induction 5 ring hob. Built under Dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer and space for tumble dryer. Breakfast Bar. Conventional Worcester boiler serving the top three floors is housed here. Each floor has its own temperature control to minimise wastage. Units have solid oak doors and were chosen to be in keeping with the age of the property.

Three piece suite. Bath has shower screen and shower over. Lino floor and tiled walls.
