Third Floor

The top floor is currently used as an art studio, for storage, and as a general hobby area.  The stairs and front rooms are carpeted, the lower stairs and landing continue the oak clad specification in the rest of the stairwell, and the studio/kitchenette have laminate flooring.  Strip lights with daylight bulbs have been installed in the three main rooms.  The studio and storage areas have Velux roof lights.  Two original fireplaces have been retained, but the chimneys have been capped off so they are not functional.  It is interesting to see how the original joinery changes as you move away from the principal rooms.  The spindles on the staircase are of a less ostentatious design, as are the skirtings.
